The all-new design center location was built with our customers and their needs in mind. Visitors will be able to explore product and service options that can help them improve their operations. This is not a place where customers will go look at product options in a catalog or on a tablet. It’s designed to be a fully immersive and interactive experience. Live demonstrations of the latest material handling equipment, products, and warehouse technology will enable business owners to see and experience their options in a way they’ve never been able to before.
“The full-scale Anaheim design center is the new and improved version to what we opened in Seattle in 2007, which has been an overwhelming success in terms of customer experience and the quality of our material handling and storage system deliverables,” said David Oliphant, Director of Retail Sales for Engineered Products.
Simulate Any Warehouse Configuration
“At the Anaheim design center, we have the ability to simulate unlimited aisle widths to accommodate different warehouse configurations (building column layouts) and models of Hyster and Yale lift trucks which translate into optimized productivity, storage density and cost for our customers,” said Oliphant.
For example, if a customer is interested in switching from standard aisles to narrow aisles they can see those options firsthand. They’ll also be able to see the equipment options that are available for those various configurations. Plus, they’ll be able to speak with warehouse layout and design experts on-site to get insight into how many more pallet positions they would have with the suggested configuration options and expected increase in throughput.
What Products You’ll See
Wire Guided Equipment

Our equipment experts can help you identify repetitive tasks in your operation that are prime candidates for automation and show you the best automation product options to address those tasks whether that’s robotic lift trucks, conveyor systems, automated storage systems, or another solution.
Narrow Aisle Lift Trucks
Explore different lift truck options for narrow aisle and very narrow aisle configurations including reach trucks, turret trucks, aisle masters and other specialty material handling equipment. The Hyster and Yale lift trucks on display are the latest models equipped with the newest features, from fleet management technology to enhanced ergonomics and safety devices. Additionally, visitors to the Anaheim Design Center will be able to see different power solutions and charging systems and learn about the performance improvements and cost benefits associated with each power option.
Pallet Rack and Storage Systems
Four different types of pallet racking will be on display at the Anaheim Design Center location including Roll Formed Racking, Structural Tube Racking, Structural C Channel Racking, and Structural Cantilever I-Beam Racking. Customers will be able to view these racking options up close and learn about the pros and cons of each. Warehouse layout and design experts will help customers select the right pallet racking for their needs to greatly improve storage density and selectivity.
Mezzanines and More
Various other warehouse products will also be on display including a structural clear span mezzanine to showcase a cost-effective way to add additional manufacturing or storage space, fully-customizable high-tech workbenches, small parts storage options and many of the latest safety products for material handling applications.
